New York Impressions

I loved i!

It's a place where you can have completely different experiences depending on the area you stay.

Our hotel, Ink48, was on the West side of mid-town a few blocks walk from Times Square and the theatre district. The Avenues which run North-South are mainly commercial and the much narrower East-West Streets are generally residential.

Upper West Side, alongside Central Park had lots of entertainment and eating places and would be a good place to stay. Downtown or Greenwich Village would be very different.

Everybody was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. We probably could have done with longer!
